LEGAL BASES OF «THE COMPOSTELATA»
Identification of the organizing company
The company ANFACO-CECOPESCA, from now on CATA LA LATA, with fiscal domicile in Crta. Colexio Universitario, 16 36310 Vigo, Pontevedra and with CIF G27722834 has organized this campaign titled «La Compostelata».
Dates of beginning and end of the contest and geographical area
The start date of the campaign will be 26/09/2022 and will end on 02/10/2022 at 23:59h. It will be possible to participate only in that period of time.
The campaign is aimed at all users who wish to participate and who are within the Iberian Peninsula.
CATA LA LATA reserves the right to postpone or extend the period of the contest in case of force majeure, as well as the power to interpret these terms and conditions.
Rules and conditions for participation
The competition is open to individuals over 18 years of age.
During the campaign, the Portuguese way to Santiago will be traveled aboard a food truck during 7 days in which it will be parked in 13 different cities (a 2 cities per day).
In each of these stages will be prepared 1 different snack, which once tasted will be equivalent to a seal obtained.
To participate, you must have obtained at least 4 stamps available during the Compostelata (document that can be purchased at any time in the food truck).
CATA LA LATA reserves the right to make changes in the campaign during its development, if there is any cause that prevents it from being carried out successfully or in order to improve its progress.
Selection of the winner and draw modality
The winner’s resolution will be made on OCTOBER 17, 2022.
The winner will be raffled among all the participants who have fulfilled the only requirement mentioned in the previous point and have filled in the attached participation in «The Compostelata» and introduced it in the urn that they will find in the food truck on the last day of the campaign (02/10/2019) in Santiago de Compostela.
Once all the participants have been compiled, they will be drawn together.
The winner will be officially announced on our Facebook fan page «CATA LA LATA» and should contact us once publicly announced. If within 4 days you have not done so, the prize will be drawn again and this new winner will also have 4 days to respond. Once the prize is offered to the next winner, the previous winner will lose the right to claim the prize.
CATA LA LATA is exempt from any responsibility in case of any error in the data provided by the winners that prevents their identification.
Value and nature of the prize offered
The prize will consist of 1 batch of canned fish and seafood, a recipe booklet of Cata la lata and a book of the Camino de Santiago that will be delivered to the winner’s address through our courier service, the cost of which will be paid by us.
CATA LA LATA is exempt from any responsibility in case of any error in the data provided by the winners that prevents the delivery of the prize.
CATA LA LATA is not responsible for any possible loss, damage, theft or any other circumstance attributable to courier services that may affect the sending of prizes.
Protection of personal data
The data supplied by participants will be treated confidentially and compiled in an automated file of personal data, being the company CATA LA LATA owner and responsible for that file, with the aim of:
- Manage the participation of contestants and contact them.
- To inform them that they have won the competition.
CATA LA LATA guarantees full compliance with Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December on the Protection of Personal Data in the processing of personal data collected in the contest «The Compostelata», especially with regard to the exercise of rights of information, access, rectification, opposition and cancellation of personal data of contestants.
Penalties in case of fraudulent use
We will understand as fraud the attempt to participate without meeting the above requirements.
The verification of any of these practices will mean the disqualification of the contest that we consider to have come through channels not allowed in the campaign.
CATA LA LATA reserves the right to take legal action against those who perform any act that could be considered as manipulation or falsification of the contest.
CATA LA LATA is exempt from any liability for damages that may be due to the temporary lack of availability or continuity of the operation of the application through which you participate in the promotion, the fraud of the utility that users could have attributed to it and access to the different pages.
